Google Earth Map of Grand Canyon Camps/Rapids/Sites

If you have Google Earth downloaded on your computer, check out this amazing map made by Micheal Sawyer. It lists any site you may want to see, links for youtube videos, NPS videos, campsites, etc. You need Google Earth to make this work, so if you need to download Google Earth click here.  I've linked this map so it will always appear at the very bottom of the blog.

1. Press the "Play" key on the map to find GC.
2. Then hit the "Pause" key for manual operation (otherwise it will run down the river site by site)
3. Use your left click to drag the map down or up river
4. Use your scroll wheel to zoom in or out on a specific site.
